Lee’s Summit Medical Center offers emergency services 24 hours per day, seven days a week. Inside the Emergency Department, our nurses are specially trained in advanced cardiac life support and our physicians are board-certified in emergency and/or family medicine. We offer rapid medical evaluations to patients entering our Emergency Department, which has reduced wait times to 30 minutes or less.  That means you will be from our door to the doctor quickly, making your visit shorter. The Emergency Department is prepared to handle your emergencies with technologically advanced monitoring systems, an electronic medication system and on-staff cardiologists who have the capability to monitor EKG results from a remote location.
